Behaviour Support Practitioner
Emma graduated from Newcastle University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Psychological Science and has since built over three years of experience in the Mental Health and Disability sector. She began her career as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and later expanded her expertise into the Coordination of Supports (COS) and Psychosocial Recovery Coach (PRC) space.
Throughout her career, Emma has worked with individuals with a wide range of psychosocial and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, borderline personality disorder, and schizophrenia. She brings a strong understanding of complex mental health needs and is committed to supporting participants in achieving their goals through a compassionate and evidence-based approach.
Emma is passionate about person-centered support, creating safe, empowering environments where individuals feel comfortable being vulnerable and are encouraged to build their capacity across all areas of life. Her holistic approach aims to positively impact emotional and physical wellbeing.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her beloved dachshunds, baking sweet treats, getting lost in a good book, and connecting with her family and friends.
