Provisional Psychologist
Daniel Duffy is a Provisional Psychologist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). He completed his Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle. Daniel is also an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Daniel has diverse experience across pain management, occupational rehabilitation, and general psychological practice, supporting individuals with a range of mental health concerns. He has worked with clients from various backgrounds and life stages, addressing issues such as physical and intellectual disability, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, workplace stress, and chronic pain.
In his clinical work, Daniel utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBI), Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy. His person-centred approach ensures treatment is tailored to each client’s goals, values, and unique experiences.
Daniel is particularly passionate about supporting individuals in reclaiming meaningful, fulfilling lives—whether that involves navigating the challenges of chronic pain or disability, adjusting to life’s changes or overcoming psychological and emotional barriers. Through a collaborative, goal-focused approach, Daniel helps clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and enhance their overall quality of life.
