Early Childhood Intervention

At The Gray Area, our Early Childhood Intervention service is here to nurture every child's strengths and potential, supporting children aged 9 and under to build on their unique abilities as they navigate developmental delays, disability, or emerging concerns with their learning, communication, or behaviour.

Delivered by our Early Childhood Specialists, this service is grounded in evidence-based, family-centred practice that recognises the critical role early support plays in a child's long-term development. Sessions are delivered through home, community, and school-based visits, as well as in-clinic at 61 Carp Street, Bega, meeting children where they are most comfortable and engaged, and are available to both NDIS-funded and private-paying participants.

How we can help

Our Early Childhood Specialists work closely with children and their families to:

  • Identify developmental strengths and areas needing support through play-based, child-led assessment.

  • Build skills in communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.

  • Support families with practical strategies to use at home, in childcare, and in the community.

  • Collaborate with educators, allied health professionals, and other services involved in your child's care.

  • Create individualised support plans tailored to your child's needs and your family's goals.

This service is currently available exclusively in the Far South Coast region of NSW.

We know that early intervention works best when it's woven into everyday life — so our approach is practical, collaborative, and centred on what matters most to your family.
